official photo blogOh tumblr...
that's it, i'm playing for keeps.Following
Has officially gotten creepy. I will admit it I have two twitters - one that is my “personal twitter” & one that is my photography twitter. It makes it super easy for me to follow & keep track of not only my friends but also then my photographer friends. The two worlds don’t necessarily cross… It also allows me to ask & keep track of questions/blogs/photos that I need/want to that my friends could care less about, aka “shop talk”.
Also, I’ve been becoming more and more aware that sometimes we are putting way too much about ourselves online. I have found out how easy it is to figure out exactly where I live if you only have my name & my “sort of” whereabouts & also that you can find my cell-phone number. I’d rather not be so “public” these days. Ironic since I’m publically blogging about this.
Anyways I’m sidetracking… When you have a “private” twitter (which my personal is) you control who follows you. Today, I had a @reply from someone that does NOT follow me, has not asked to follow me but he commented on a photo that I posted via twitpic. How freaking creepy is that? To make it worse…it’s the ONLY TWEET HE/SHE’S EVER MADE. Twitpic is not private, but how did he find THAT photo to comment on? CREEEEEEPY.
Twitter has now become creepier than myspace/facebook. I really didn’t think that was possible, did you?
