I wish I had more time lately, I’ve been majorly computerless because I have barely been home I’ve been so busy.
2009 treated me pretty well, not going to lie. This has been the best December that I’ve ever had I believe. November/December is always uber hard for me. I have some of the best friends & have been blessed in so many ways. I was going to do a “best of list” & maybe I’ll get around to it but if I met you this past year I’m very grateful.
I spent my last days of 2009 the only way I would have EVER wanted to: at THE STARTING LINE REUNION SHOWS in Philadelphia. Holy shit, mind was blown. Two days spent with some amazing friends & my favorite band EVER playing together again. So happy, so content, so mind-blowing. I actually crowd surfed for the first time in my 24 years.
2010, hello I love you so far. Started off with my first true New Years kiss ever. Rang in the new year with my best friend, my boy, some friends, & her family. I’m so glad everyone had so much fun Kristie & I were 4-0 in pong with a ridiculous comeback. Just saw Jeff Dunham live then went to go see Avatar in 3d. Both were so amazing it was ridiculous & I can NOT wait to see Alice in Wonderland in 3d, looks insane. Been spending most of my time working, hanging with Aaron or with friends. & I’ve been catching up on my movies thanks to Aaron. :)

The past two days have been a good break from reality.
Seeing friends & good people, taking my mind off of all that’s circling me currently.
I’m currently taking a break from packing for Philly. I leave tomorrow & will be there until early Saturday morning. I have an entire day tomorrow to screw around on the megabus online/watching movies/editing photos. I also have a 2 1/2 hour layover in NYC, anyone sweet there want to grab dinner?
Tonight, I’m working AC/DC slinging shirts. Shall be interesting.
My ears are at a 0g now. I lost one of my tunnels & couldn’t find my 2g tapers so…I ended up sizing up too early yet again.
I am honestly so lost within myself lately. This is a rarity. I’m not content with anything in my life & see so many things I want to change, but I’m being forced to change something that I wasn’t expecting yet. Therefore I have to focus on that & put everything else on the backburner.
Last night truly made me feel old & out of my element. The show in Toronto the night before was a blast. So much fun with everyone. Buffalo? You let me down. Who pulls a machete on a friend? Since when do 12-15 year old girls snort pills in the bathroom at Xtreme Wheels? Fights breaking out in the parking lot? I just don’t get it.
First off Brokencyde never should have been playing at Xtreme Wheels in the first place, Mohawk Place? Yes. Xtreme Wheels, no. I’m just glad my nephew left when he did.
But, then again it made me realize that I truly have some of the best people around me. I surround myself with the ones that DO CARE about each other, & people in general. I am grateful for that, truly grateful.
Since my last update, life has pretty much sucked. All that progress, yeah may have been for nothing. Or this is just forcing everything into effect even more.

I found the IDEAL apartment in downtown Buffalo, in one of my dream apartment buildings. But I can’t afford the studio, so I need a roommate. It’s in the theatre district.
I need to be out in about a month. Obviously if I moved out of Buffalo, I would need to find a new job. Which makes me nervous, but I feel like I could make due elsewhere.

I am proud of myself. I have been doing exactly what I said I would do. I have been saving money. I haven’t been doing things that I don’t necessarily need to do. I remember who my friends are & stick with them/by them.
I work. A lot. The season has begun again which equals long 13 hour days.
The next couple weeks have some fun put into them though, I’m stoked.
Wednesday is Boys Like Girls. Friday & Saturday is The Ready Set, so happy to see/hang with Matt and the boys. We’ve been seeing them so much lately it’s going to be weird to not see them again for a couple months.
I leave for Philly on the 19th, visiting Nikki & job hunting until the 24th. Photoshoots and adventures, I can not wait. Philly is one of my favorite cities & I’ll get quality time with one of my favorite girls! Plus, TONS of my friends from DC/MD are coming up to visit, I haven’t seen them in months and/or years! Also, Courtney lives in Philly now and I haven’t seen her since we graduated college!
I’m calling this week my “reward time” for finally following through on some things. New photos should be posted shortly as well as a new photo website up! I can’t wait to push some things forward.

FINALLY! I’m starting to follow through on my plans. If for some reason I can’t get off work (because I start a new job), or Nikki has something come up & I can’t stay with some of my other friends…no big deal.
Now it’s time to start looking for companies/jobs that I can set up interviews for. I’ll also have several hours of downtime in NYC… both ways. I’m excited to see what I can pull together during this time. & the friends I’ll be able to visit/see! :)
I only spent $4.50 on the roundtrip. I wish it was that cheap/easy to get everywhere I need to go. Thank you megabus.com. Granted I’ll be spending most of the 19th & the 24th traveling, their buses have free WiFi so I’ll be able to keep myself busy working/occupied.
